Mieke Van Den Driessche is Doctor in Medical Sciences, a title obtained at the University of Leuven, in December 2002. Five years earlier, she obtained a Master's degree in Nutrition and in 1993, she graduated in Biochemistry (with a specialization in biotechnology). During her doctorate, Mieke was a researcher and member of the Pediatric Gastroenterology & Nutrition department at the University Clinics of Leuven, Belgium.
Mieke was for more than 10 years, Head of Research & Development, Regulatory and Medical Affairs at Metagenics Europe. In April 2022, she was appointed VP Global Science/R&D at Metagenics. She is responsible for all scientific/technical aspects of the business including research, innovation, product development, regulatory and clinical affairs.
