The gastrointestinal passage is shortened and the body has less time to absorb the calcium present in food. In the event of long-term calcium deficiency, the body draws calcium from bones and teeth. Calcium supplementation is therefore recommended to support bone formation and maintain strong bones and teeth.

All our calcium supplements contain calcium citrate, which is the preferred and recommended form to take after surgery, and vitamin D to improve absorption.
