For approximately 350 grams

 

Ingredients

  • 100 g low-fat quark
  • 100 g low-fat yogurt (0.1% fat)
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1-2 tsp dill (dried or frozen)
  • 150 g cucumber
  • Salt, pepper

Preparation

  1. Mix the quark and yogurt together. Peel the garlic and press it directly into the quark using a garlic press. Add the dill, season with salt and pepper, and mix everything well.
  2. Halve the cucumber lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a teaspoon (you can use them elsewhere if desired). Grate the cucumber directly into the mixture using a kitchen grater. Mix everything well.

Tip: Cucumber seeds contain a lot of water, so they should not be mixed into the tzatziki. You can eat them as they are or add them to a salad.
